The Shop is open to NYAC Members from 10am to 7pm Monday through Saturday, and on Sundays from 9am to 4pm.

Is there a dress code in Harvard?
Appropriate dress is required throughout the Club for Members and their guests. CASUAL ATTIRE, including jeans in good repair, is permitted everywhere in the Club except on weekdays after 5:00 PM in the Main Dining Room and Harvard Hall when BUSINESS CASUAL is required.

The name comes from the logo of the New York Athletic Club. The NYAC logo pictures — you guessed it — a foot with a wing attached to it. Several members of the NYAC at the time were part of the group that founded Winged Foot in 1921, so they brought some of the club’s flavor with them to the golf course.

Tennis. Travers Island offers one of the most extensive tennis facilities in the northeast. Fifteen Har-Tru courts and three all-weather courts are available, and some are lit for nighttime play. Members can schedule lessons with a teaching professional throughout the summer.
