When was IU Spruce Hall?
Located adjacent to the School of Education, this beautiful residence hall opened in August 2013. It houses 440 residents in double and single rooms. Restroom facilities are shared by up to 8 residents. The facility design is new to IU Bloomington and features multiple lounges and group study areas on each floor.
What comes in a dorm at IU?
Residence hall rooms come with:

You seriously do not need to bring… Only bring stuff for tail end of summer/fall, then switch it out at Thanksgiving time if you can. You will need all the light clothes you can get when it is still scorching in Btown. A toaster, a candle warmer, candles with the wick in them.

all buildings these days are coed, but even some floors are coed. each dorm feels like its own small community and i have heard nothing but positive remarks from fellow students. every one i have spoken to loves where they live and feels as though their floor is like a family.
