What are the tiers of the access test?
The three tiers of A,B,C have been combined into two tiers of A and B/C. Tier A is for students who are just beginning to speak English, ELP 1-2. Tier B/C is for all other English learners. Test administrators will no longer need to select the appropriate tier for students taking the online test.
Is C2 native level?

What is a proficiency band?
Performance bands are used to categorize a student’s performance on a test. Each band is a range of achievement. Bands are labeled to indicate what the score means for the student’s proficiency. In the example below, a score from 80-89% means the student has an Above Basic understanding of the material.
